A series of working visits from the Directors of Holding Perkebunan Nusantara which will be held on 18-21 May 2021. Puslitkoka participated in the working visit since the Arabica Coffee Discussion Discussion Activity with the Directors of the Nusantara Plantation Holding at the Kalisat Jampit Plantation of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII.

The discussion was attended by the Managing Director of Plantation Holding, Mohammad Abdul Ghani, along with the ranks and Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII, Siwi Peni, and his staff. In the discussion, the Head of Research Center, Dr. Agung Wahyu Susilo, conveyed several scenarios for developing Arabica coffee. In this scenario, Puslitkoka said it was ready to provide technology package support and assistance in the implementation of Arabica coffee development.

After the Kalisat Jampit Gardens, a series of working visits continued at the Kaliwining Experimental Garden, the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Insitute. Continuation of the working visit at the Kaliwining Puslitkoka KP was attended by the Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara X, Aris Toharisman, and his staff.

The visit to the Experimental Station began with an explanation of the Puslitkoka profile, then continued with the cultivation of super robusta coffee, then visited various research and development facilities for seeds, machinery, and downstream industries.

Working visit and discussion of the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Governance Section of Jember Regency on Monday, 7 June 2021 at the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute. The visit was attended by the Head of the Cooperative Service, Arismaya Parahita, and his staff and was received by the Head of the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute, Dr. Agung Wahyu Susilo.

During the cooperation visit, it was conveyed that the Regional Government of Jember Regency is full of coffee and cocoa development, not only from the upstream side but also to the downstream side. This collaboration is expected to be a trigger for the acceleration of coffee and cocoa development in Jember Regency.

The target of this meeting is the formulation of a Cooperation Agreement between OPDs in Jember Regency and the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Center as a follow-up to the signing of the MoU between the Jember Regency Government and the Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute.
